Ant will be looking to climb the championship roster a bit more this round as he settles down on the Yamaha YZF-R1M in 2022.

The cancellation is required due to a newly occurring national motorsport calendar shake-up affecting the Tasmanian round, including the announcement of WorldSBK returning to Phillip Island in November.

Outstanding work in Queensland has Mike Jones at the top of the class and while there is plenty of racing to come!
Though quiet at Phillip Island, Mike Jones was able to impress himself upon the Championship via outstanding results at Queensland Raceway (two wins plus an extra point for pole).

After two riders went down at turn two (including Saturday front-runner Taiyo Asksu), the Dunlop Supersport 300 Race Two was restarted with five laps remaining.
Some of the times in Supersport 300 couldn’t transfer over into the R3 Cup as a new order was found in Practice.
It was raceday for the 300’s. With the track being so quick, falling away from the slipstream meant you had to work twice as hard to catch up with the field.
The 300 riders worked together through practice to make the most of the slipstreams down the long straights.
In this class, Glenn Nelson has been fast- and critically- consistently attending the podium.
They news broke after ASBK only recently announced the series’ return to Tasmania…
